Institutional and correctional facilities require the most out of every door, window, wall and ceiling. Each is required to serve multiple functions while providing the utmost in security for the facility. For ceilings and walls, those responsibilities include standing tall against physical, chemical and moisture abuse, while reducing noise and maintaining healthy air quality. Accurate Perforating’s security ceiling and wall systems create a safer and healthier environment, preventing intrusion with a metal barrier that resists mold and mildew and can be engineered to absorb sound.
Complete security systems can be constructed of either panels or planks:
- Standard panels are 2' x 2' or 2' x 4' in 18- or 20-gauge powder-coated, galvanized or stainless steel.
- Standard planks are available in widths of 12", 18" or 24" and lengths up to 12' in white powder-coated galvanized steel or stainless steel.
- Custom panels and planks can also be designed. Contact one of our architectural estimators at (800) 621-0273 to discuss your needs.
Plank and panel systems can be either plain or perforated to reduce noise or increase HVAC flow. Noise-reducing systems include PVC-wrapped acoustical pads that achieve noise reduction coefficients up to 0.95. Both types of systems include steel moldings, tamper-proof mounting hardware, concealed fasteners and the structural supports and accessories you need for a secure installation, top to bottom.
