The primary role of this position is to provide our customers quotations, engineering support & customer service from initial product development stage through production. Prior experience in an architectural /engineering role within a metal fabricating or architectural products company is required. Ability to read & interpret blueprints along with knowledge of AutoCAD drawing software is also necessary in this position. Proficiency in Microsoft product software required. Must possess knowledge in working and maintaining punch presses, press brakes, power shears, etc. Hydraulic and pneumatic systems CNC equipment, PLC and controls. Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics is desired. Machine fabricating and welding skills abilities. Our north side facility Accurate Metal Fabricating needs an experienced estimator. The primary role of this position is to provide our customers, quotations, engineering support, & customer service from initial product development stage through production. Effective communication skills both written & verbal are essential. Prior experience in a metal fabricating environment with knowledge of brake presses, punch presses, CNC turrets & lasers required. Ability to read & interpret blueprints along with knowledge of AutoCAD drawing is also necessary in this position. Proficiency in Microsoft product software required. Ideal candidate has ability to program CNC turrets and laser machines.
